LI is dedicated to developing leadership among young, and mature, Latinas. In partnership with several organizations, leadership training and engagement opportunities are provided throughout the year to empower Latinas to prepare them to be informed, influential, civically-engaged women.

	LI launched a year long partnership with the Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity & Reproductive Rights (COLOR) called LIPS (Latinas Increasing Political Strength) with the purpose of targeting young women aged 14 – 21 to become trained advocates. Denver precincts 202 and 203 will be targeted for this project. Learn more
	Through a partnership with the Women’s Family Action Network, a project of the Women’s Foundation of Colorado, LI advocates on issues including the reinstatement of the state Earned Income Tax Credit, and serving on the state’s Pay Equity Commission.
	LI through a partnership with Girls Scouts provides trainings at youth detention facilities, middle and high schools all over Denver. To date LI has trained over 200 young women during the year of 2007 alone.
