LI is dedicated to developing leadership among young and mature Latinas. Issue education and leadership training and engagement opportunities are provided throughout the year to empower Latinas and prepare them to be informed, influential, civically-engaged women.

The conference is an inclusive conference for women all ages to engage in information, resources, and tools to positively develop their own agenda about issues that affect their daily lives, including economic self sufficiency. Ya Es Hora - Colorado Citizenship Campaign intended to inform, educate, and motivate lawful permanent residents to apply for citizenship prior to the July 30, 2007 fee increase. Thus far we helped over 1,450 LPR's apply and 61 or LI's students who were enrolled in our citizenship class have since become citizens. Learn more |

Delegate University - Latina Initiative, in partnership with the White House Project, holds a year-long series of events and delegate trainings leading up to the conventions. The trainings focus on giving women the necessary tools to become delegates for their respective parties. Due to popular demand, the Latina Initiative and the White House Project will host a Caucus College Training to prepare women for their neighborhood caucuses. Learn more |

Latina Initiative is proud to be one of the women's organizations that collaborate on the Go Lead! Training Series. Go Lead sessions encourage you to lead a political life – voting is just a start. We offer trainings on political action and running for office. The Go Lead! Trainings are held monthly, are free of charge, and dinner is provided!
