Who is a Member?

Members are Latinas, individuals and businesses committed to advancing the Latina Initiative's Mission to cultivate, support and maintain civic involvement for Latinas in Colorado - and who believe a prosperous democracy relies on the civic involvement of its people.

LI members are steadfast proponents of the various levels of civic involvement - voting, understanding how government functions, community service, expressing political views and partnering with elected officials to solve problems. Members are civically active at their own individual capacity and work to encourage other to get involved.

Individuals of all backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, class, gender, citizenship status or sexual orientation, are invited to join.
