  • The Latino/a Issue Briefing & Advocacy Day values justice, freedom, access, opportunity, and concern for others.
  • The goal of this nonpartisan event is to create a Latina/o voice at the Colorado state capitol to hold elected officials accountable for and responsive to the needs of the Latino/a community of Colorado.
  • Participants will learn about prospective 2008 legislation concerning health care, education, workforce/employment development, and comprehensive immigration reform.

Colorado residents from throughout the state will hold one-on-one meetings with state legislators as part of the Advocacy Day.
